By installing or using Foyer you agree to these terms.

  1. What Foyer is. Foyer is a companion app for a Home Assistant server that you operate or are authorized to use. You supply the server, a compatible Roku device, the network connection between them, and the Foyer integration.
  2. Information is as reported. Foyer shows what Home Assistant reports. Unknown is not an all-clear, and a working connection does not guarantee that a sensor is accurate. Foyer is not an alarm, security or emergency monitoring service; do not rely on it for safety.
  3. Controls. Only make devices, scenes and scripts available on a TV to people who are allowed to use them. An accepted request does not guarantee that every device changed.
  4. Your content. You are responsible for the cameras, media and dashboards you show and for having the right to view and play them. Foyer does not provide any media; it plays files from your own Home Assistant server.
  5. Your storage. Playing some files makes temporary working files on your server. Converting a video, which is off unless you turn it on, saves a copy next to the original and uses disk space and processing time on your server. Keep backups of media you care about.
  6. Purchases and refunds. Purchases are made through Roku and are subject to Roku's terms, including its refund process. Try the built-in demo before buying to check that Foyer suits your setup. These terms do not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
  7. No warranty. To the extent permitted by law, Foyer is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and the publisher is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.
  8. Third parties. Roku and Home Assistant are independent of Foyer, which is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roku, Inc., Home Assistant or the Open Home Foundation. Your use of your Roku device is also governed by Roku's own terms.
  9. Changes. Updated terms will be published on this page with a new effective date.
